1943 – Baath party, the movement of
Arab resistance was formed in Damascus Syria by Michel Aflaq and Sala
al Din Bitar. They supported the Rashid Ali pro German regime in
Iraq, which set up a fascist background to the party.
14 Aug 1951 – Zagros in northern
