Ferdinand Magellan reached the Philippines in 1521.1565 - The first
Spanish settlement by Miguel Lopez de Legazpi on the island of Cebu.
1570s - Legazpi formed the city of Manila. After 300 years of Spanish

11 August 1968 – Noordin Mohammad Top

finance, reps of nine Islamic countries set up an Islamic financial
